The whole school came together on Tuesday for our annual Remembrance Service, a moment of reflection and gratitude for all who gave their lives in service. Pupils and staff gathered as messages from the Head, the chaplain and pupils set a thoughtful tone for the morning.
The service included moving musical performances and the laying of wreaths, with the Last Post sounding from the tower window. A particularly poignant moment came when Upper Two pupil Stephanie delivered a heartfelt recital of In Flanders Fields by John McCrae.
In the Junior School, our creative new art monitors were busy making beautiful remembrance jars, each featuring a symbolic poppy.
