Working at Exeter School

Exeter School, with a history spanning nearly four centuries, stands as a vibrant, forward-thinking independent school dedicated to providing the highest quality education. Nestled in the heart of Exeter, our picturesque 25-acre main campus blends centuries-old architecture with modern additions.

Our facilities include two well-appointed libraries, a drama studio, arts studios, a purpose-built music school, chapel, and gallery. The school boasts a range of top-tier ICT resources, dedicated rooms in the senior school, custom suites for music, design technology, and sixth form study, as well as a specialised suite in the junior school. Complementing our extensive playing fields are a 3G astroturf arena, a 25m indoor swimming pool, sports hall, fitness suite, studio area, climbing wall, indoor shooting range, squash courts, and an all-weather court. We maintain a rigorous program of ongoing refurbishment and upgrades for all classroom facilities.

At Exeter School, we prioritize the growth, welfare, and wellbeing of our valued staff. We embrace diversity, drawing on a wide range of skills, qualifications, roles, and responsibilities across our teaching and non-teaching teams.
