Open mic night was such a fun evening with many amazing performances. Lizzie, from Lower Sixth, kicked things off with “Spooky” and set the bar extremely high.
Emma, Upper Sixth, followed with a down-beat acoustic version of “You’re the One That I Want,” which gave the song a new feel that everyone enjoyed.
Zoe and Bella in Upper Fifth (Year 11) sang “The Night We Met,” a really emotional and well-blended duet, before Emma came back with Becca (Upper Sixth) for “Home,” which included questionable whistling but overall was very enjoyable. Rosalila (Lower Sixth) brought loads of energy with “One Night Only,” and Lizzie returned for “Call Your Mom,” which showed off her tone.
Adam (Lower Sixth) gave a confident performance of “Candy,” and the night ended perfectly with Rosalila and Lizzie singing “Edelweiss.”
Overall, it was a brilliant night full of talent, variety, and great vibes. Well done to everyone who performed!
