Over 40 Exeter School musicians gathered in the idyllic country church of St. Giles, Sidbury, for the chamber concert that has happened there annually for more than 20 years. The warmth of the welcome was reflected in the glorious evening sunshine. This year, the audience of locals, families and staff were treated to performances by Wind Ensemble, a String Quintet, Saxophone Quartet, ‘Cello Ensemble and Belles Canto, the Bach Double Violin Concerto by Bach, featuring Alice and Joshua, and solos from Upper Sixth pupils Izzy, Tristan, Dominic, Felicity, Imogen and Oscar.

Our final concert before study leave for the Upper Fifth and Sixth musicians is on Wednesday 1 May at St. Michael and All Angels’ Church, Heavitree.  This summer charity concert is in support of Azuko, a charity whose vision is to create a world without housing poverty, and was selected by pupils who will be performing.  Tickets are now available via the box-office.

At Exeter School we believe that education is about the moments that make us. Meaningful moments that get etched in our memories and the everyday kindness that makes them possible. We welcome you to discover Exeter School in the best way possible. See it. Experience it. Ask questions to the people who matter the most – our pupils.
