Congratulations are in order for three talented Exeter School cricketers! Ethan, Tom, and Aayush have capped off a memorable season by helping the Exmouth U15 team become Devon County Cup Champions.
A Season to Remember for Exeter School Pupils
Cricket has been the highlight of the summer term for these three Exeter School pupils. Throughout the season, Ethan, Tom, and Aayush have proudly represented Exmouth in the U15 County Championship, battling through the competition to reach the final stages.
Their dedication and skill helped guide the team all the way to the final – a brilliant achievement in itself, and one that reflects the hard work these pupils have put in both on and off the pitch.
Cup Final Success at Sandford
The final took place at Sandford, where Exmouth faced tough opposition in Cornwood. Tom and Ethan took to the field to represent their team, giving everything they had in a tense and exciting contest.
Exmouth ultimately triumphed, winning the match by 7 wickets to be crowned Devon County Cup Champions. It’s a fantastic result and a fitting reward for a season of consistent effort and teamwork.
While Aayush was unfortunately unable to play in the final due to injury, his contribution throughout the season played a vital part in the team’s success, and he shares fully in this well-earned achievement.
Exeter School is incredibly proud of Ethan, Tom, and Aayush for representing both their school and Exmouth so brilliantly this season. Reaching a county final — and winning it — takes real skill, resilience, and team spirit, and all three pupils should be delighted with what they’ve accomplished.
