On Monday, 48 Middle Fifth (Year 10) pupils attended GCSE Science Live in Bristol. The pupils got the chance to see and hear from some of Britain’s top scientists, all working at the cutting edge of their specialisms.
There were talks from Prof Sophie Scott, Prof Robert Winston, Prof Andrea Sella and Prof Jim Al-Khalili on topics designed to enthuse and excite GCSE pupils, encouraging a love of science and sparking an interest outside of the course material.
