Open mic night requires courage

Pupils from across Exeter School delivered an evening of confidence, creativity and musical talent at last Tuesday’s Open Mic Night, wowing the audience with an impressive range of performances.

From powerful solo vocals to moving duets and poetry, the evening celebrated the courage and enthusiasm of pupils who stepped onto the stage and embraced the opportunity to perform in front of family, friends and staff.

A huge thank you and congratulations go to every pupil who took part. Performing live takes real bravery, and each performer brought remarkable confidence, stage presence and individuality to the event.

Outstanding Performances from Exeter School Pupils

Particular praise must go to Third Form students Cornelia H, Sarah D and Haniya D, whose performances captivated the audience and demonstrated exceptional poise and musical maturity.

Celebrating Confidence, Creativity and Performance

Events such as Open Mic Night play an important role in the vibrant co-curricular life at Exeter School. They encourage pupils to develop confidence, resilience and communication skills, while also giving them the chance to share their creativity with the wider school community.

The evening reflected the supportive and inclusive atmosphere that makes Exeter School such a special place for young people to grow and thrive. Whether performing for the first time or returning to the stage with experience, every pupil contributed to a memorable and uplifting event.
