On Thursday 18 September,
Lower Two travelled to the sunny English Riveria, to PGL Barton Hall.
This was a new centre to us , providing new experiences and great accommodation and security.
With nervous, excitement we couldn’t wait to get there.
The centre was excellent it even had sea views.
As soon as we got there, we unpacked in our rooms then we were straight into activities.
This is what the pupils thought of our amazing experiences.
Zip wire: Martha said,
“It was so fast, so high and we zoomed down a whole valley.”
Survivor: Harry said,
“Building dens and making fires, I feel I could now survive in the wild.”
Problem Solving : James said,
“I really liked the challenge and having to think outside the box.”
Archery: Lottie said,
“I got a bullseye with my first arrow. The games were great fun.”
Vertical Challenge: Finn said,
“This was incredible. I climbed to the very top. I felt so proud.”
Giant Paddle board: Niyati said,
“It was great fun paddling around the lake, playing games, splashing the other board and jumping in!”
Evening entertainment.: Leo said,
“Loads of brilliant games; the wacky Races were the best.” “All the instructors were funny, we sang so many cool songs.” “I loved the campfire. We toasted marshmallows and the fire was cool. ”
Food: Daniel said,
“The food was amazing and there was a brilliant drinks machine that mixed healthy no sugar drinks for us. I had a lot.”
Conclusion:
“We had a brilliant time, learned new skills, became more resilient and made lots of new friends.”
