Matthew Goode (1989-1996) is the star of the new Netflix crime drama Dept. Q; an adaptation of novels of the same name by Danish author, Jussi Adler-Olsen. Starring as the lead, Detective Chief Inspector Carl Morck, Goode has received rave reviews for his performance in the current top 10 charting show on Netflix.
He studied drama and theatre arts at the University of Birmingham and attended the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art following appearances in many school productions during his time at Exeter School; including starring as the Duke of Buckingham in the 1995 production of Richard III. Since graduating he has had notable credits in hit movies and TV show including Downtown Abbey, The Imitation Game and The Crown.
