NYT success!

Posted: 10th May 2024

congratulations to students

The results for the National Youth Theatre auditions came out this week and we are pleased to announce that we had 9 pupils who have been successful. This is an amazing achievement for the pupils as it is highly selective.

The National Youth Theatre (NYT) is one of the most prestigious youth drama programmes in the country and is notoriously difficult to get into. Each year, in excess of 6,500 young people between the ages of 14 and 25 apply, with only about 700 places offered. It has launched the careers of people like Daniel Craig, Matt Smith, Colin Firth, Catherine Tate, Matt Lucas, Orlando Bloom and Rosamund Pike.

The successful pupils this year join the current 9 NYT pupils in the school, eight of whom got in last year.

The successful pupils this year are:

Freddie

Zoe

Luke

Rose

Rebecca

Emma

Megan

Gracie

Benji
