House meetings – buddy reading

House meetings in junior school this week saw the pupils share their love of books. Following on from a very successful world book day last week, the children met in their houses to discuss favourite books, characters, plots, and twists. Pupils were asked to bring in books to share with others which could also have been a picture book or a much loved book from when they were younger.

There was a lovely selection of fiction, non-fiction, comics and even homemade, hand-drawn books shared throughout the day. It showed a true reflection on our virtue to inspire curious minds and it is amazing to see this in action with peer to peer activities.

We welcome you to discover Exeter School in the best way possible. See it. Experience it. Ask questions to the people who matter the most – our pupils.
