Alex Leger
Alex Leger spent a record 36 years as a producer and director on Blue Peter. He survived storms, landmines, erupting volcanoes, dehydration, food poisoning and attacks with stones & flying bullets to produce some six hundred programmes worldwide for Blue Peter. He travelled the world meeting incredible people – including members of the Kayapo tribe in Brazil. Alex will share stories from his days here at Exeter School and explain how they set him on a path to an adventure-filled career.
