Buller House

Buller House was founded in March 1930, as a result of ‘greatly increased numbers’ in the school, which were ‘rendering Raleigh and Drake unwieldly’. Named after General Sir Redvers Buller (1839-1908), it was the fourth house to be founded at the school, and the first reported Head of House was H Bagnall in 1942/1943.

Open evening - 8 May

At Exeter School we believe that education is about the moments that make us. Meaningful moments that get etched in our memories and the everyday kindness that makes them possible. We welcome you to discover Exeter School in the best way possible. See it. Experience it. Ask questions to the people who matter the most – our pupils.
