A pupil takes over the Pre-prep assembly

The 6 June marked 80 years since D-day, the largest amphibious invasion in the history of warfare which was crucial to the victory of the allies. In light of this anniversary, Ali from our Pre-prep asked if he could lead an assembly. He explained the allies, how D-day is commemorated in Exeter, how they prepared for D-day and what happened afterwards. He even hosted quiz questions for the children at the end! It was wonderful to see him sharing his passion for history and getting the children so enthused with the artefacts and costumes he brought in.
