Upper Fifth pupil George B heads to South Africa this week for an exciting South Africa cricket tour with the Devon County Cricket team. George earned his place as a member of the U15 South Africa Tour 2026, and the whole Exeter School community is cheering him on.
From Devon to South Africa
George’s journey takes him from Devon to two very different corners of South Africa. The squad will fly to:
- Skukuza, in the heart of Kruger National Park
- Cape Town, on the southwest coast
It promises to be an unforgettable trip, combining top-level cricket with the experience of touring overseas alongside some of the most promising young players in the county.
Part of the Devon County Pathway
George travels as part of the Devon County Age Group and Emerging Player Pathway, which supports talented young cricketers as they develop their game. Selection for the U15 tour recognises the hard work, dedication and skill George has shown on the pitch.
Proud of George
Representing your county on an international sports tour is a fantastic achievement, and we are incredibly proud of George. Pupils, staff and families across Exeter School send him our very best wishes as he takes on this new challenge.
Good Luck, George!
We wish George and the Devon County Cricket U15 squad a brilliant South Africa cricket tour. We look forward to hearing all about his experiences when he returns.
