It has been a summer of triathlon success for two of our Exeter School pupils. Daniel has earned a place at the South West Triathlon Academy, while Hanna has claimed a national podium finish and qualified to race on the world stage.
Daniel Earns His Place at the South West Triathlon Academy
Daniel recently trialled for the South West Triathlon Academy, and we are thrilled to share that he has been selected. It is a fantastic achievement, and one Daniel is rightly very proud of.
His selection is all the more impressive after a challenging start to the year. Daniel broke his collarbone earlier in 2026, yet he has bounced back to earn his academy place. That kind of determination is something we love to see.
Hanna Finishes Third at the British Championships
During the summer holidays, Hanna raced at the Age Group British Triathlon Sprint Distance Championships. She finished third female overall, which is an outstanding result against some of the country’s best age-group athletes.
Next Stop: Hamburg
Hanna’s podium finish has also qualified her for the Age Group World Championships in Hamburg next year. Representing her age group at a world championship is a huge milestone, and we can’t wait to follow her journey.
Racing at Ironman 70.3 Turkey
Before then, Hanna has another big race in her calendar. In November, she will take on Ironman 70.3 Turkey. The name refers to the total race distance of 70.3 miles across the swim, bike and run.
