Thursday 24 September saw our first cadet flying trip of the term, and what a day it was! Monty, Elizabeth, Darren, Hal, Fan and Charlie made an early start as we headed to Boscombe Down for an unforgettable morning in the air.
Flying with No 2 Air Experience Flight
Our cadets flew with No 2 Air Experience Flight (AEF), and the team at No 2 AEF worked like clockwork to get everyone up in the sky. With fantastic weather conditions on our side, the day could not have run more smoothly.
Veterans and first-time flyers
Our six aviators brought a great mix of experience to the day:
- Several veterans returned to the cockpit for another flight
- Two cadets took to the skies for their very first flight
A huge well done to our first-time flyers on this exciting milestone, and to our returning cadets for flying the flag once again.
