The Economics Society was delighted to welcome Henry Strouts, Senior Manager at CBS, Markets & Business Development, as our guest speaker this week. Henry shared a fascinating insight into the wide range of career paths available to students—regardless of their degree—and highlighted the value of chartered accountancy as a foundation for any business role.
Pupils also gained a deeper understanding of how companies value themselves and the important role hedge funds can play in turning businesses around. A brilliant and thought‑provoking session for all involved. Many thanks to Society President, Jacob (Lower Sixth) for organising the event.
