The excitement was palpable last Friday, as pupils and teachers gathered in the main hall for the inaugural sixth form charity Winter Ball. This year’s event was in support of the Wooden Spoon charity, which works to transform the lives of children and young people through the power of the rugby community.
Pupils looked glamorous in their dinner jackets and dresses, with group photos taken on arrival by Ms Holohan. A photo booth also proved popular, giving pupils the chance to capture fun memories with friends throughout the evening.
The hall was soon filled with music, laughter and dancing as ceilidh band The Dawntreaders took to the stage. It was a joy to see pupils fully embracing every dance and mixing beyond their usual social circles, with both Lower Sixth (Year 12) and Upper Sixth (Year 13) pupils celebrating together.
Thank you to Miss Rose for organising such a fun event, and to all the pupils and staff who helped make the evening so memorable.
