Exeter School art scholars have created a collection of sustainable artwork for Salmon Run. Artist Anne-Marie, founder of Timelines, invited the school to take part in the event.
The brief challenged our art scholars to respond to the themes and ideas behind Salmon Run. Their task was to create sustainable artwork that could work as a prop at the event or help to advertise it.
Isaac, Selina, Vivienne, Otto, Bee and Flo all rose to the challenge. Working with recycled and eco-friendly materials, they used a range of media and took surprisingly varied approaches to the brief.
The finished collection of sustainable artwork includes posters, paintings and textile hangings, all created for the event. Together, the pieces show the many different ways our pupils interpreted the themes of Salmon Run.
