Our Lower 2 and Upper 2 children kicked off the sporting year in style, travelling to Taunton School for their first match day of the year. The afternoon was packed with hockey and rugby fixtures, and our young players made the most of every minute on the pitch. This match day gave every single child in Lower 2 and Upper 2 the chance to represent Exeter Junior School. Across both sports, our pupils played some excellent matches and proudly wore the school colours against Taunton School.

Our children brought huge enthusiasm to every fixture. They worked brilliantly together, encouraged their teammates and showed great sportsmanship towards their opponents throughout the afternoon. Match days like this help our pupils grow in confidence, build friendships and discover the joy of playing sport as part of a team.
Most importantly, the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience. What a wonderful way to begin a new year of junior school sport!
