Exeter School Community Raises Nearly £500 for Hospiscare

handing out raffle prizes

The Exeter School community came together at the end of the summer term to raise nearly £500 for Hospiscare through a charity raffle, with pupils, parents, staff and local businesses all playing their part in the fundraising effort.

The raffle proved to be a wonderful way to round off the term, with an excellent response from across the school community. Every ticket purchased and every prize donated helped raise valuable funds for Hospiscare, supporting the charity’s vital work caring for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families across Exeter, Mid and East Devon.

The success of the raffle was made possible thanks to the generosity of everyone who donated prizes and supported the event. We are especially grateful to Exeter Golf and Country Club and Sanctuary Flowers for their kind donations, alongside the many pupils, parents and friends of the school who also contributed.

Their generosity helped create a fantastic selection of prizes and encouraged so many people to take part.

The raffle draw took place on the final day of term in the Sixth Form Centre, where Mr Chu had the honour of drawing the winning tickets.

Congratulations to our lucky winners:

We hope you enjoy your prizes!

Raising nearly £500 is a fantastic achievement, and it would not have been possible without the kindness and generosity of everyone who supported the raffle. Whether you donated a prize, bought a ticket or helped organise the event, thank you for helping make such a positive difference.

As another busy and successful school year came to a close, the raffle was a fitting reminder of what can be achieved when our community comes together in support of a worthy cause.
