After lunch last Wednesday, the Music Hall became the place to be, as pupils from Exeter Junior School were joined by a number of their peers from four other local primary schools. The event was the Celebration of Singing, lead by Miss Kirwan, who oversees the Exeter School Music Partnership (ESMuP) programme.
Throughout the year, Miss Kirwan and her team of Upper Fifth and Sixth Form pupils have been visiting schools running music sessions on Wednesday afternoons, with this event providing the opportunity to share in the songs they have learnt. The ESMuP volunteer senior pupils were also in attendance, serving drinks, welcoming our visitors, and joining in with the combined item at the end of the programme.
