Form One have been exploring their new science topic on rocks and fossils. The pupils have been investigating different types of rocks and experimenting with their properties, including permeability, absorbency, buoyancy and hardness.
Through hands on investigations, the pupils observed how rocks react to water, tested which rocks float or sink, and explored how hard or soft different rocks are. They used magnifying glasses to make careful observations and shared their ideas using scientific vocabulary.
