At the weekend, Lower Fifth (Year 9) pupil Finn and his Exeter teammates travelled to Manchester to compete in the U15 National Age Group Water Polo Championships.
Exeter made a strong start, winning all of their pool matches to progress to the semi-finals. An exceptionally tense match followed, ending in a narrow 10–9 defeat in the final seconds. This set up a challenging bronze medal play-off against the defending champions, London Penguin.
Despite the disappointment of the semi-final, Finn and his teammates showed impressive resilience, delivering a dominant performance to win 18–3 and secure a well-deserved bronze medal.
