We were delighted to hold our Upper Sixth interview scheme at Ashford’s on Saturday. Ashford’s are a big supporter of the local community, and we are very appreciative for the use of their legal offices to hold this event in such a professional environment. We were fortunate to have to been joined by professionals from a range of roles within our school community, some of whom had children who have come through the school, some current parents, and some alumni of the school.
We are so grateful to our interviewers for their generosity in giving up their precious time to support this event. It’s heartwarming to watch the transformation as pupils walk to their interview space appearing nervous and apprehensive, only to return 30 minutes later with a bounce in their step, looking smiley and optimistic about the next step in their pathway. Our interviewers have been incredibly complimentary about our pupils and frequently comment on how inspired they are by the pupils! Every pupil commented on the experience being a very positive one on their departure, and we hope they will now use any feedback, to allow them to continue developing for their ‘real world’ interviews!
Well done to all the pupils for pushing themselves outside of their comfort zones to reap the rewards… it really is worth it!
