British Sign Language club helps junior school pupils learn key skills

Posted: 20th May 2025

British Sign Language (BSL) club is in full swing this term as part of our junior school cross-curricular provision and our pupils have been having an exciting time learning essential signs and communicating in new ways. From greetings like “hello” and “thank you” to expressions of emotion, the club provides an engaging and inclusive space for learning. Sign language not only enhances communication skills but also fosters inclusivity and boosts cognitive development. It’s wonderful to see our junior school pupils embracing such an important skill!
