The Annual CCF RAF Nitex was held on Woodbury Common. One of the highlights of the RAF calendar, the whole section headed out to Woodbury at the end of the day on Friday. The sixth form non-commissioned officer (NCO) led a series of training stances for the Middle Fifth/Upper Fifth teams, followed by a ration pack evening meal before the main exercise. The exercise itself involved teams navigating a complex route around the area, solving problems and completing tasks to pick up clues to foil “Dr Pereni’s evil plan” (the scenario written by the sixth form). The NCOs did an outstanding job in planning the exercise and the winning team were Team 3 (Emilia, Ben, George, Ivan and Freddie as i/c).
