Over the last few days, a number of our pupils have taken part in the Devon Performing Arts Festival; coming away with excellent results on a range of instruments.
- Ralph (U1) came first in the Boys Solo 9 years and under class, and got awarded honours feedback in his other two performances.
- Grace (L2) came first in the String Intermediate Class as well as a commendation in the String Recital (any age group).
- Simon (L2) was awarded Honours in both the Grade 5 piano and the ‘Any Age, Any Level’ piano class, where he also won the cup.
- Betsy (U2) won two of her classes; Sacred Song -10 years and under and Comedy Performance -10 years and under, as well as receiving great feedback in her other three classes.
- Rosanna (U2) was awarded honours in the Grade 4 piano category
- Andrew (4F) was awarded Honours and won both the Piano Solo Grade 8 and the Recital Class.
Congratulations to everyone on their achievements, which highlights the breadth and depth of musical talent within the music department.
