We are always so excited to hear about our pupil’s successes outside of the school, and last weekend was no exception. On Sunday 9 June, Matt from Lower Sixth competed in the Dartmouth Triathlon at Blackpool Sands. This was Matt’s very first Standard Triathlon, which incorporated a 1,500m swim, a 40km cycle and a 10km run. Although it was a demanding day, this didn’t deter Matt; out of the 113 athletes, Matt finished 13th overall and won his age category (Youth 17-19 years). What a tremendous achievement for Matt, congratulations!
