Each day this week, I have been inviting a small group of Nursery children to join me in the office for lunch. This has allowed us to focus on sitting at the table, using cutlery correctly, showing good manners and taking part in conversation. They have also enjoyed feeding Ruffles some carrot sticks and shown plenty of curiosity about all the things on my desk! The children have really impressed me with their politeness and I look forward to inviting more children for lunch over the coming weeks.
