The school were lucky enough to welcome back Old Exonians and Somerset CCC players Ben Green and Tom Lammonby for a coaching masterclass on Friday. Ben who has just re-signed with Somerset CCC was their standout player in the T20 blast victory last year. Tom plays in all three formats for Somerset and also plays for Manchester Originals in the Hundred and represented England ‘A’ in 2023. The senior cricket scholars and 1st XI players had an afternoon session working on bowling at the end of the innings and T20 batting and the development squad joined Ben and Tom for an after school session. Ben & Tom are busy with their pre-season preparations at Somerset at the moment and head of to Sri Lanka and Abu Dhabi in March. We wish them the very best of luck for the 2024 season and looked forward to keeping an eye on their progress.
