Sea turtle talk with Jo Earlam

Posted: 17th January 2024

Love Turtles, Love Our World.
Thank you to Jo Earlam, the author of Tuamor the Turtle, who visited our junior school today. She shared the turtle’s story and discussed the causes of marine plastic pollution, encouraging our Upper One pupils to protect the environment. The pupils are looking forward to developing their knowledge on this topic and making their clay sea turtle tiles during their art lessons.
“I’ve learnt how recycling in a very small way could make a big difference to our world”, said one pupil.

At Exeter School we believe that education is about the moments that make us. Meaningful moments that get etched in our memories and the everyday kindness that makes them possible. We welcome you to discover Exeter School in the best way possible. See it. Experience it. Ask questions to the people who matter the most – our pupils.
