German career seminar

The L6 German class have just taken part in a seminar organised by the British Council and the Goethe-Institut. There were interesting talks from people who work for the British Council, the FCDO (Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office), and GCHQ (Government Communications Headquarters). They talked about their language learning journey and how they use languages daily in their jobs, and there was an opportunity for pupils to ask questions. It was a useful and thought-provoking experience.
