Kate Rickard – Reception teacher at Exeter Pre-Prep

Kate joined Exeter Pre-Prep School in April 2024. An experienced Reception teacher, she started her career at Totnes Primary School in 2014, before moving to Shiphay Learning Academy in Torquay, where she taught for six years and became lower school team leader. Kate teaches Reception on Mondays to Thursdays, and is the school’s Early Years Co-ordinator. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, cooking, gardening and constructing flat pack furniture! Kate has two young children and her husband also coaches tennis and football at Exeter Pre-Prep.
