Helen Clark

Helen has been a Governor since March 2011. She sits on the Welfare and Safeguarding and Education Committees.

Helen is an outdoor pursuits expert who has represented The Ski Club of Great Britain in Austria, France and Italy and for three years was an elected member of their Council. Having qualified as a British ski instructor, she taught skiing in Aviemore and led and instructed Ski Club of Great Britain parties for adult and teenage groups in the Alps.

She has also worked for ten years in The Royal Household for The Prince and Princess of Wales and later in The Queen’s Press Office.

Since 2007, Helen has assisted with Exeter School’s Ten Tors training and is a qualified Walking Group Leader.

Helen and her husband, Tony, manage their smallholding on the north edge of Dartmoor. They have two children who both attended Exeter School. Tony is a retired Parachute Regiment Officer whose last appointment was Commandant of the Dartmoor Training Area.
