Catherine Gibaud

Catherine Gibaud is a KC, practising at Gray’s Inn and specialising in commercial litigation and advisory work. She became a Governor in March 2017, is Chair of the Welfare and Safeguarding Committee and sits on the Education Committee.

Before coming to the Bar Ms Gibaud obtained an honours degree in Actuarial Science (with Economics and Statistics), trained as an actuary and worked in the Corporate Finance and Advisory division of Ernst & Young in the City of London.

As well as holding numerous legal appointments, Ms Gibaud has previously been a Governor of a federation of schools in the maintained sector.

Married to a barrister and KC specialising in anti-terrorism and public law, she has three children, the elder two of whom attend Exeter School. The family is based in Devon, near East Budleigh, but maintain legal practices in London.
