Ailsa joined Exeter School as Head of Human Resources in February 2023, having spent most of her career working in the higher education sector. Prior to working at the school, she has held a range of HR positions including Assistant Director of HR at a Russell Group university and running her own HR consultancy services. She has served as a trustee to a charitable body, been an independent director of a housing association and non-executive Director of a social enterprise supporting people into work and education.
Ailsa is qualified as a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
In her spare time Ailsa enjoys attending the theatre and walking her sproker spaniel.
