Pre-Prep Reflections Week 12 2023
Dear parents
It has been a slightly different week at Exeter Pre-Prep this week, with Mr Ayling out of school on an inspection for 3 days. He (and Ruffles) have certainly been missed! Despite this, it has been ‘business as usual’ in school and we have had another jam-packed week, with Christmas fast approaching.
Nativity rehearsals
Monday saw the arrival of the stage in preparation for next week’s nativity performances. We hope this will ensure the best possible viewing opportunities for families. A reminder of the arrangements for the nativity (and the other exciting events planned for next week) can be found below. Please note, clubs will run as normal on Monday and Tuesday next week, but there will be no clubs on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Late Room will run on all days except Friday, due to the early finish.
Parent drop-in
It was lovely to see so many parents at our drop-in on Tuesday and we know the children loved sharing their work with you. If you were unable to attend, please do contact your child’s teacher and they will be happy to arrange another time for you to come in. Alternatively, we do hold drop-ins once a term, so there will be another opportunity in the spring.
Fundraising success
Many congratulations to Ben in Year 2 who has been awarded a silver Blue Peter badge following his recent charity run, which raised £655 for the National Eczema Society. He was also featured in the latest edition of their Exchange Magazine. What a great achievement!
Christmas cards
Our Year 2 postal workers have been very busy delivering the first batches of Christmas cards this week. Please can we remind you to include the child’s name and class on the front of the card so that we can ensure it is delivered to the correct person.
