Dowrich House

Dowrich House was founded in the 2018/19 academic year. Named after Elizabeth Dowrich (c.1800), she donated the equivalent of £100,000 to help develop the school. She was not the first in her family to donate; her father was Alderman Thomas Walker, who left a significant legacy in 1629 to found (what was to become) Exeter School. The first Head of House was Helen Sail.
