To begin the application process for a place at Exeter School please complete the registration form for each pupil you would like to register. There is a non-refundable fee of £150 per pupil to register at Exeter School and at Exeter Pre-Prep the non-refundable registration fee is £100.
Entrance assessments
The senior school entrance assessments take place on Saturday 10 January 2026.
The junior school entrance assessments take place on Saturday 31 January 2026.
There are no entrance assessments to join Exeter Pre-Prep School.
Application Process:
Shortly after we receive an application, you will receive a formal acknowledgement with further information.
Late in the autumn term you will receive information regarding the assessments. Children attend in their own clothes and will undertake a variety of assessments depending on the year group they are entering. More information about the entrance assessments can be found on the junior school and senior school admissions pages.
An academic and pastoral reference from your child’s current school will be sought prior to the entrance assessments – this forms an important part of the process and decision making. We aim to advise parents of the outcome of their application by February half-term.
