There was a real buzz last week as Upper Two pupils took to the playground to sell their products as part of their @virginmoney: make £5 grow challenge.
This is the culmination of a term’s hard work, with each team conducting market research as well as trying and testing their products... with their peers.
The products all proved very popular, with profits from the proceeds going to our three selected charities: @moortrees, @infocus_charity and @nspcc_official.

As we mark the International Day of Action for Rivers today, we are celebrating Upper Fifth pupil Monty, who recently completed his first ever marathon, running an incredible 42.6km from Tiverton across Exmoor while following the River Exe.
Monty joined John Mildmay-White for part of his ...400 mile @runfortherivers challenge, which aims to raise awareness of the pressures facing the UK’s rivers and seas.
Well done to Monty for showing such determination, resilience and mental strength 👏

Today is #Techognition day – an opportunity to showcase the work that technicians do and to recognise their essential roles in schools.
Our science technicians ran Techvision – an opportunity for our pupils to try some of the varied tasks that technicians do. Activities included ...bending glass tubing, potting baby spider plants, fault finding in electrical circuits and making gelatinous balls of algae.
It was great fun and gave pupils a better understanding of the effort that goes into preparing their experiments.
