On Sunday, our Rugby teams travelled to Taunton School to compete in the West of England 7s tournament.
After a tough start against strong Bristol Grammar School and Kingswood School teams, our 1st VII secured convincing wins over Plymouth College and Collegiate. This landed them a place in the Shield Final, where a 19-12 win over King Edward’s School meant they walked away as winners of the Shield.
Congratulations to the team on securing some well deserved silverware. There was plenty of progress made throughout the day, which will act as great preparation for their Rossylyn Park rugby 7s trip in two weeks’ time.
