Netballers do the school proud at regionals

The U16s netball squad travelled to the regional finals last weekend where they competed against the best schools across the south west. They were superb throughout the day winning four out of their six pool matches (losing one by a single goal) and were a real credit to the school. Unfortunately they missed out on the knock out stages and the chance to qualify for the national finals by the narrowest of margins but should be very proud of their achievements.

Despite their disappointment they have lots to look forward to with ‘Sisters in Sport’ national plate knock out match against Croydon High School for Girls next Thursday. If they win will qualify for finals day at Loughborough University next half term. We look forward to cheering them on!
