Our swim squads had a great day at the ESSA south-west relays last week and started the season with some pleasing team performances. There is the potential for teams to qualify for 5 events at the finals which will be held in Birmingham on Saturday 18 November. The junior boys teams finished 10th in 4 x 50 m freestyle and 4 x 50 medley relay, the intermediate girls 11th school in 4 x 50 m freestyle and the intermediate boys 4th school in 4 x 50 freestyle and 4 x 50 medley. The details as to whether we have qualified may not be available until late October as it depends on the other heats around the country. Well done to everyone involved and we look forward to hearing about possible places at the national finals after half term.
