Following a brilliant season the U13A team were crowned county champions on Thursday with a win against Blundell’s. Exeter posted 153 for 8 with Reuben T top scoring with 53 before bowling Blundell’s out for 111 with Maddie Russell, Mo Kaleem and Leo Raichura all taking 3 wickets. The 1st XI bounced back from a tough week last week with a T20 win at home to Blundell’s on Monday, Harry M the star of the show with a score of 69 and three wickets. They also won on their travels to Well’s Cathedral School on Wednesday where they posted a superb 261 – 2 thanks to an unbeaten century (100*) from Nate J and half centuries from Harry M and captain Niall McC. A busy week of cricket was rounded off with visits from the 1st Riffles battalion who played the 2nd XI and an U12 match vs Beechen Cliff School, Bath.
