Field Day Programme takes Pupils far afield

The termly Field Day took place on 5 February. The Army CCF was on manoeuvres around school, the RAF went flying at Chivenor and the Navy was doing map navigation on Dartmoor.

Pupil groups outside the CCF also followed special programmes:

• The Duke of Edinburgh group either walked from Sandy Bay to Exmouth or undertook First Aid at school
• Year 7 undertook a History visit to medieval Exeter, including the Underground Passages and the Cathedral
• Year 8 went to Paignton Zoo
• Year 9 went either at Plymouth for dry ski-ing or to London to visit galleries and the London Eye
• The Middle School Revue cast ran a full dress rehearsal for the show on 6 and 7 February
• A group of senior musicians to perform at the West of England School for young people with little or no sight.

In addition, the A2 Geographers had visited London the previous day to study urban redevelopment projects.
