Junior School Drama Club acts out
Alice in Wonderland
Form One and Upper One Drama Club members performed ‘Scenes from Alice in Wonderland’ this week.
The thirty-two children involved were on stage at all times and worked very much as an ensemble group with each child a part of the whole action.
All the children had something to do and something to say.
English and Drama Coordinator Rita Pettet said she was incredibly proud of the whole cast.
“They achieved a very high level of performance and most importantly, kept their audience entertained throughout.”
Throughout the rehearsal process, the children added their own stamp on their characters, preparing special movements and working on the delivery of lines.
“It was wonderful to watch them grow in confidence and they were a joy to work with throughout,” said Mrs Pettet.
