Tuesday 13 November

U13, U15 & U18 Gala

Exeter School hosted the first of four galas versus Wellington, Queen's College and West Buckland.

"The teams competed in U13, U15 and U18 age groups in five individual events and both medley and freestyle relays," said Dr Robb.

"After a very exciting gala with fantastic support from the teams Exeter narrowly won with 155 points to 152 points for Queen's, 122 to Wellington and 105 to West Buckland.

"A number of gala records fell with Queen's setting the new pool record for two relay events and Wellington gaining three individual and one relay record.

"Exeter pupils also faired well claiming 4 individual gala records and the intermediate girls team performed very well breaking both of the existing records in the relays in their age group.

"The team will be in action against Torquay Boys and Girls Grammar Schools on Thursday 22 November."


Wednesday 14 November

U18 v King's Taunton, Richard Huish, Millfield, National Cup

In the 1st round of the national cup the U18 team had to play round robin matches against Millfield, King's Taunton and Richard Huish.

"The team struggled against a strong Millfield side but fared better against King's Taunton with individual wins for James Horler and Tom Peters," said Mr Mason.

"They won their final match against Richard Huish 5 – 0 to come third on the day. They now move into the National Plate competition."
