Exeter School’s squash success
Devon Junior Squash County Championships
Exeter School pupils competed at the Devon Junior Squash Championships held at Exeter Golf and Country Club on the weekend of 15/16 September and succeeded in taking home a number of titles.
Devon Squash County Coach Mike Harris, former pupil and Squash Coach at Exeter School, said the event was hotly contested across all the age groups from U11 through to U19, as results have a large bearing on whether players are selected to play for Devon this season.
“The school’s finest players did not disappoint, taking home a number of titles between them, proving that Exeter is a hotbed of squash quality,” he said.
“It was great to see such a large entry of Exeter School pupils in this competition. They all played some really great matches and their attitude and application within the games was exemplary.’’
